The Ralli Museum is a private non-profit institution the purpose of which is to draw attention of the public at large to the quality of contemporary Latin-American art by living artists. It was created and is fully funded by Mr Harry Recanati who manages it with his wife. So far, four Ralli Museums have been established by them in various countries and admission to them is free of charge.
The Ralli Museum in Caesarea is located at the center of an attractive park. One of the principles of the museum is that no commercial activity whatsoever should exist in the Ralli Museum, which explains the absence of bookshops, bars and restaurants.
The four Ralli Museums (Punta-del-Este, Uruguay,1987; Santiago, Chile,1992; Caesarea, Israel, 1993; Marbella, Spain, 2000) house the most complete collection in the world of Latin- American Art by living Artists.
